This 45 degree elbow mold is a 3-plate mold mechanism. The core pulling mechanism is relatively complex. We designed two collapsible core-pulling mold mechanisms for this 90 degree elbow injection mold. One is used to solve the O-ring at the elbow port. The other realizes the core-pulling ejection of the elbow itself. And the core pulling actions at these two locations are controlled by the same oil cylinder. The product material is black PVC material.
Foldable Core Pulling Mechanism 1
The foldable core is a very representative mold slider mechanism, mainly for the internal thread or annular boss of the plastic part. We designed 9 exquisite parts to combine the foldable core. The contraction and expansion of the slider are achieved through the control of the oil cylinder.
Foldable Core Pulling Mechanism 2
The core-pulling structure of this 45-degree elbow is cleverly designed, consisting of two precise arc blocks and two guide rails. The mechanism is controlled by the oil cylinder, allowing the arc block to move flexibly along the guide rails. The processing accuracy of the arc slider needs to be very high because the inside of the pipe fitting is smooth and curved.

During the product ejection process, the slide at the O ring shrinks first. Then it is separated from the product along with the slide inside the elbow.
